Shelly Jerman, a passionate and resourceful woman in her 50s, started the company out of a personal need. After purchasing a piece of land she dreamed of transforming into a calming, welcoming retreat, Shelly had a vision—gorgeous, bubbling fountains nestled among her gardens and trees. She turned to Amazon to source everything she’d need, but quickly realized just how overwhelming and confusing the process could be. With hundreds of scattered listings, unclear product pairings, and high price tags, it was difficult even for someone as motivated as her to get started.
Empowerment, Ownership, and affordability
Rather than give up, Shelly saw an opportunity. If she was struggling to find a simple, affordable way to create a fountain oasis, surely others were too. That spark of inspiration led to the creation of Friendly Fountains, LLC—a business dedicated to offering easy-to-install, all-in-one fountain kits that take the guesswork out of creating a water feature. Her goal was simple: make it easier and more affordable for everyday landowners, Airbnb hosts, vacation home managers, and rural dreamers to increase the beauty and value of their properties.
